Answer:

Yeah, I'd say you've gone over the top here a bit. I would suspect this is slowing down your system quite a bit. Avast is an excellent anti-virus, but I prefer AVG. It's your first line of defense. The Windows built-in firewall is probably sufficient. I doubt you need to supplement it. CCleaner is a great program and you should run it often, but it doesn't provide any protection against spyware or viruses. It will make your system run faster and free up a lot of hard disk space. Keep it. Of the others you have listed, I would keep either Spybot Search and Destroy or SpywareBlaster. They are both excellent, but you only need one. I am partial to Spybot because not only does it run in the background to protect spyware from getting onto the machine, but you can also run a scan to double check your system. I think SuperAntiSpyware and AWC2 use too many resources. The free versions are really just ads for the paid one. I'd lose them. AdAware is OK, but it doesn't seem to be nearly as thorough as Spybot or SpywareBlaster, although it really does search for slightly different types of files. The free version doesn't take up much room or use many resources, so it wouldn't hurt to keep it and run it occasionally. Mostly it will find and delete tracking cookies, which aren't a huge threat. Lastly, I would avoid any defragmenter that runs automatically. Talk about slowing down your system! The one built into Windows works fine and you can run it manually from time to time to see if your disk needs work. So in summary, I'd say you should keep these and get rid of the rest: 1. Avast (but check out AVG) 2. SpywareBlaster or Spybot Search and Destroy 3. AdAware 4. CCleaner Hope this helps - and I hope you see a system speed improvement.
Key could be worn out. Is it also hard on the other door? (pass. side) Try usind some door lock lube from the auto parts store. Yes, they made door lock lube. And read the manual. It'll tell you if you need another key to open the hatch. BTW, tell all your friends RTFM! (read the freaking manual) It amazes me how many people write in to this eorum with questions when the answers are in the manual
