Autozone has three seals for my 93 Camry automatic 4cyl.They fit these transmissions:1. A140e or A140L2. A240e, . series3. A540e or A540H.How do I identify which transmission?Seals for the 2nd model are in stock.
The 93 Camry 2.2L 4cylinder came with the A140 series transmission, and has a 15-bolt transmission oil pan. The A540 has 17 bolts in the pan, but only appeared on the 3.0 version, and the A240 series (18 bolt) were found in Corollas and Celicas, not Camrys. Verify your bolt count, and order accordingly. Preferably from a parts store that can tell the difference!
