We have tried doing it ourself but its very uneven and we have neither the time nor the tools to finish it. I would like to have the ground professionally leveled but I'm not sure if I should be calling a pool company, a landscapping company, an excavator, or someone else entirely. Thaks in advance.
If you want it done right, then have it transited and staked by a surveyor, then graded by an excavation company. A good landscaper should be able to do this as well using laser levels or even string levels. Make sure you are specific in your contract what you want done and they are an experienced and reputable company with good references. Call any local pool place and have them recommend an excavator. All excavators could do it, but you want one that has done pools before and will do a good job.
