I like the whole metal thing, but I'm also a Christian.
Mostly Death Metal (Scandinavian of course!) as in The Arcane Order and Hypocrisy but I like a few Black Metal bands too like Naglfar and Vreid.
Death metal. But I like a few Black metal bands as well.
Death Metal. I just like my music more straight up and agressive. Some of the best Black Metal is hard to enjoy for me because the production is so shitty, and the vocals don't do much for me either. If I want to listen to something ambient/atmospheric I would much rather listen to Experimental/Post-Metal. Death Metal just makes me want to headbang, its fun, its heavy, its technical, its melodic. Everything I like about music. Don't get me wrong, I love me some Black Metal, (my favorites are Agalloch and Cobalt) but in the long run, I prefer Death Metal.
