Question:

Whole Foods almond cookie recipe?

My friends had a party catered by Whole Foods recently that had these super chewy almond cookies.Does anyone have the recipe for them? I don't think it's the one on the website since these were really chewy and not crunchy.

Answer:

Almond Paste Whole Foods
pour generous amount of olive oil over it then season with sea salt/rock salt and cracked black pepper generouslyover high heat on a panbrown all sides (until caramel forms on all sides)pop in the preheated oven at 150C and let cook for exactly 30 minutes(medium rare)take it out the oven put on a rack underlined with a tray and cover with tin foillet it rest for minimum 20 minutesbest served with mash, gravy and any veggies of your choice and some yorkshire pudding perhapsby the way, save the juices from the cook beef and it can be used for the gravyP.Sthis is applicable if its beef fillet(joint from top of the rib) if not then follow the same steps except set the oven to 120 and let it cook slowly for 1hour to 1hour 30 minutesi hope that helps
