Why are compounds that contain &carbonate& used in some types of fire extinguishers?

It really does not matter if they don't know about it yet. As soon as you find and use one they will know about it. They monitor everything done on every computer at school. So go ahead spend all your time on finding one. It will be blocked withing a couple of days. Is it really worth all that work? How about the risk of getting caught?
