im new to driving and owning my own car! and I need new tires! I was expecting them to be like 200$ total! but I was wrong, the one I need are 146$ a tire which would bring the total up to like 560! why are tires so expensive?

Because you have a car that uses expensive tires or because you went to a place were tires are expensive. $200 is unrealistic, but you shouldn't need to spend $560 for tires for most cars. You might be able to get cheaper tires somewhere else.
