Why can t a car act as it s own faraday cage to protect against an EMP ? Why cant the sheet metal and glass insulate the electronics ?
Everything inside of it like the wood and other flammable materials burn and sooner or later without the support of those materials the building will collapse.
A little kerosene and a lit match.
Usualy carpets,furniture or more likely wallpaper which make it look like it's on fire
Because the body is not grounded and the openings for the glass are so big and not covered with conductive mesh of the right size. You could not use a cell phone inside a car that was properly set up as a Faraday cage. And worrying about an EMP for anything other than a science fiction story is a waste of energy.
[1] BECAUSE THE CAR IS NOT PROPERLY EARTH GROUNDED , ITS RUBBER WHEELS COMPLETELY BLOCK THE ELECTRIC CONNECTION FROM EARTH SOIL BECAUSE RUBBER IS A VERY GOOD INSULATOR. [2] ANY METAL IS A GOOD ELECTRONIC SHIELD FOR RF OR EMP ESPECIALLY THE COPPER IF IT IS EARTH GROUNDED. GLASS IS NOT ABLE TO BLOCK RF OR EMP !!!!!
