why did all my fire alarms go off for 3 seconds and shut off? and the power did not go out?

Answer:

Yes, vapor lock is a symptom of either a clogged fuel filter, or a failing fuel pump. The fuel filter may be something you can do yourself (if you can trust yourself not to set the thing on fire). The other will require a mechanic. And it could be things other than vapor lock too. [EDIT: There is water coming out of the tailpipe. Are you losing coolant? If so, you've got a good answer, either blown head gasket, or a cracked block. As engine rpms go up, so does cooling water pressure When an engine is cold, and the exhaust system is cold, you will have some condensation for a while. This is normal, and not symptomatic.]
Hello Why not use the app on your iPhone (clock) select the app and set up using the alarm feature, tap the plus top right set your time then select sound select Alarm tap back then tap save, this alarm sounds like yas trying to break out of jail and will guarantee to have you out of bed especially if you leave it the other side of your room you will have to get up to stop it and if you don't the rest o the household will soon be hollering at you lol.
