Question:

Why do lot's of place's use wax floor's with all the labor vs artificial floor's.?

Wax floor's have to be buffed stripped and waxed and other floor's usually a mopping.

Answer:

Some flooring , especially in retail floors, need a top coat to protect the floor from all the foot traffic. Whats commonly applied isn t a wax but more of a urethane finish or top coating. When buffed it heats up melts and reapply s itself to the floor along with a shiny finish. Most vinyls for residential flooring no long requires a wax but a simple mop on polish. And yes it occasionally needs to be stripped and reapplied. But this to is a simple mop application.. This is for the same reason, its a top coating to protect the vinyl from foot traffic..
