it is always exact every day on the dot. these are plugged in through house power only no batteries or slot for batteries.

Political correctness has gone so far it seems there is no room for honesty anymore in the media. It's ridiculous. Anyone who is honest would probably have said something similar to what Juan Williams said concerning the situation being discussed.
I have to maintain 300 of them 150 hard wired with battery back up and 150 with 10 year lithium batteries in them regular smoke only do last longer than carbon smoke combos do .I was told years ago by a fireman that most carbon detectors use a jell pack inside them and when they get old or contaminated with dust particles they won't reset with just changing the battery .I change the battery first and check to see if it goes quiet most times it don't I end up replacing it with new .I don't think you will ever get the intended years use of them unless conditions are perfect.best choice is to replace it .gl
I Think that it stinks that Juan Willams was let go For his own personal opinion. How sad that when he was on FOX news with anyone , on the Panel or Bill O'Reilly program , we didn't always agree with him but he kept FOX NEWS honest with his Liberalism. He Was a great asset to You guys and you just let him go for using FREEDOM OF SPEACH !!! I guess now we are no longer allowed to be honest . We can thank our wonderful President for that. Nancy Pelosi can't tell the truth if her life depended on it and Harry Reid is in the same group It is time for all americans who believe in HONESTY AND INTEGRETY stand together and vote these people out of office. Also fire the ones that are too scared to be Honest with the people.. We stand behind Juan Willams all the way . I will continue to voice my opinion because i can !!!! Juan willams is well respected and I hope he fights this all the way !!! SHAME ON YOU ALL !!!!
