You ask for less heard of, and this tool offers you Metallica and Pantera... *shakes head* Exhorder - Pantera stole their sound. Before the influence of Exhorder, Pantera were wearing eyeliner, spandex, and Aqua-Net, covering Bon Jovi songs in strip clubs. Blessed Death - An excellent blend of classic metal and thrash Kreator - Early on, they were a black/thrash metal band, then went for more of a straight thrash approach before broadening their sound with some experimentation. Good stuff though Deceased - The self-proclaimed sick thrashers from Virginia. They broke through the underground in 1997 with Fearless Undead Machines, a concept album based on George Romero's Dead trilogy, where the band began incorporating a more traditional metal feel into their death/thrash metal sound.
Random, eh? Obituary (Death Metal) Persuader (Speed/Power Metal) Enslavement of Beauty (Gothic/Melodic Black Metal) Cynic (Jazz Fusion/Death Metal) Hyades (Thrash Metal) Dark Empire (Progressive Power/Thrash Metal) Freedom Call (Power Metal) Theatres des Vampires (Gothic Metal) The Chasm (NWOBHM-influenced Death Metal) Mob Rules (Power Metal) Lake of Tears (Symphonic Gothic Metal) Communic (Progressive Metal) Witchery (Speed/Thrash Metal) Angra (Progressive Power Metal) Waylander (Folk/Black Metal) Dark Suns (Dark Progressive Metal) Blaze (Heavy Metal) Time Requiem (Neo-Classical Metal) Kreator (Thrash Metal) Should be enough.
Metallica, Pantera, Sepultura, Slayer, Soulfly, Down sorry about the less heard of part. I didnt read it Brownstone- A lot of people like to avoid those albums but they're really great. I, no joke, am listening to The Great Southern Trendkill's title track as we speak. Thats a great album. GREAT ALBUM. People just avoid it because of the hostility and the heroin and all that. The last minute or so of trendkill is probably one of the best minutes in music history *Yeah Im going on the 18th
