Always Something to use as a splint or support in case of broken bones. A blanket to keep an accident victim warm. A torch - never know when you are going to get caught up in something in the dark. Normal saline for irrigating and cleaning small wounds and eyes.
Check any security softwares that might have been blocking that site for you. Or you might have been logged in on the system as a standard user and not as an administrator. You can also check if you have or someone set or activated parental controls on your system. If you are on a network, then probably the IT department might have blocked some websites for security purposes.
unless your overheating it,,modern fuel injected engines do NOT vapour lock..i fear you need a mechanic.
