Question:

Why do some buildings esp in the midwest have the steeples on top of the house?

Is it to protect against lightning? Or why else? It is a metal spike on top of the buildingwhat is it all about?

Answer:

you can't disable it any attempt to do so will make it think the car is being stolen or tampered with and the theft system will shut the car down,it literally kills the ignition system on it if you tamper with it and only a dealer can reset it,the reason i know i killed one dead in its tracks,if it was that easy to do all the thief's would have easy access to all the newer model vehicles, good luck.
I haven't tried the alarm clocks but have a friend who tried the sun lamps (also very expensive) and said they were just ok. You may be able to try putting your lights on a timer system and see if that helps before forking out money for the alarm. Most hardware stores sell timer light gadgets that plug into most electrical outlets. It will bring your lights on sooner just like in the summer when it gets light very early. You can opt to have it work with a dimmer switch too so it's very gradual or not too bright. That's a very inexpensive thing to try.
