Question:

Why does my laptop always have issues accessing the internet thru an ethernet cable?

Both my new laptop and less than 30 day old netbook, have issues whenever I use the internet at home (ethernet cable-no wifi). But whenever I use public wifi for hours at a time, both are fine. I haven't used my laptop all day, it doesn't want to connect. I've restarted it and still nothing. What should I do?

Answer:

Control Panel Network and Sharing Center Change adapter settings select Local Area Connection and check whether it is enabled. If disabled enable it. if it doesn't work, try to change your ethernet cable.
