With rumors flying around of a possible heel turn for Kofi, I wonder why won't the WWE take Kofi seriously as a top face. Kofi does have what it takes to rock the audience as a top face and compete for the world title. His small size makes him an underdog, people love the underdog, just look back at Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero's popularity. The audience soaks up Kofi's spiderman abilities like a sponge soaks up water. There's no doubt that the strong audience support is there for Kofi.
Those things didn't exist at the time - and even if they did, the company obviously didn't have them because that would have cost them more money.
