Why is aluminum foil used in switches?
Not sure what type of switch you could be referring toThere's literally hundreds and hundreds of different types of switchesThe only thing I could think that one would use a paperclip to flip a switch would be some sort of a reset switch such on a modem or an eject switch on a CD or DVD romIf the match stick fits, I don't see what that wouldn't workBut, without a picture or the type of switch, it's impossible to give you a better answer.
