My oldest son is 8 years old. He's always been a kid, we've never had problems with him. The other day, I asked him why he didn't come inside after I asked him to twice. He made up a whole elaborate story about how he had to help the neighbors (who weren't home at the time.) I scolded him for lying. Today, he came home from school with a missing homework sheet that I had to sign. This was the first time I've gotten one. The night before, I asked him if he did his homework, and he said yes. He's also been behaving worse, and mouthing off to his grandma. I have 3 younger sons, could he be just looking for attention?
I think only the kitchen one works all the other ones batteries died and we havent replaced them yet

Cheaper to buy a new one on sale at a home products or hardware store. Many can't be refilled. If yours can, there would be a safety products company in any larger city that could do the recharge.
