I have a 2002 Tahoe with aluminum rimsI use it to haul a trailerI can never get the tires to hold airThere is always one or two tires that have a slow leakThe shop I get to mount and balance uses plenty of quot;bead sealerquot;, they tell me.I would just like to put tubes in all problem tires from now on.Apparently tire shops won't do that anymoreI did ask the guy who was doing the actual work and he wasn't sureHe said he'd ask the boss but he never got back to me about it.Can someone tell em why that is? What's wrong with using tubes?
A pound of Red Heart yarn would be your best betIt keeps its shape and color for years and goes right through the washing machine and tumble dryer(machine wash warm or cool, tumble dry medium or low) It also reshapes itself back into its original shape when washedYay! A pound of Caron yarn is ok, tooI have not had quite such good results with Caron, but it's not bad by any meansIt stretched a little when washed and dried, but not too much and only on the first washing.
I've made a few afghans mixing dark and light colors, including white, using either Caron (one pound) or Red Heart yarn, although I haven't seen Red Heart come in a one pound sizeBoth are acrylic, you can machine wash and dry, they hold their shape and the colors have never bled, in my experience anywayLion Brand Pound of Love (acrylic) is a thinner yarn and a little stretchier, but you can still machine wash and dry.

Modern tubeless tires are not designed to have tubes, so there is very little attention paid to manufacturing them with a smooth interiorAs such, you may expect to find a lot of raised molding marks on the inside, like a rectangular grid of small ridgesTubes tend to squirm around inside of tires as they flex under loadThe little rubber ridges inside the tubeless tire can eventually abrade the tube to cause stress cracks and pressure failureIf you will be using a tube, you would be well advised to run a power sander all around the inside of the tubeless tire to remove the molding flash and leave the inner surface as smooth as possibleAnd NEVER leave any manufacturer's stickers inside the tire if you will be using tubes.
