Question:

Why type of material is used for packaging a meal box?

Help will appreciated :)

Answer:

The aluminium that you know reacting with oxygen is PURE aliminiumThe aluminium we find in our kitchen is only PART aluminiumIt is fused with other metals.
While PURE Aluminium (Al) reacts with O2, the 'Aluminium' (cough, cough) are actually aluminium based alloys, made to allay the reactivity of the metal while not decrementing from the desirable properties of the metalJJ :)
The 2 answers I saw so far are right, I just wanted to add to itThe key phrase is Seemingly inert Certain foods and higher heat ranges can cause the aluminium in those pans to react and bleed out into the air and food.
you can use aluminum foilby the way u didn't mention that for what purpose do you want to pack the meal box? whether it is for carrying the box or protecting the meal?
