Answer:

I think that is a bit much myself, more money in the governments pockets thats for sure, I find nothing wrong with second hand clothing..I don't wear it, but I donate clothes all the time, this is no different then wearing your big brother or sisters clothe's. In fact it is pretty much the same thing, the clothes are washed. What are the poor supposed to do now? buy new when they can barely pay the rent, and put food on the table? I know what it is like because as a child my folks were on welfare, we went to the food bank, and got all of our clothes from the second hand store.
wear saftey glasses wear gloves make sure long hair and loose clothing is out of the way to avoid contamination or setting self on fire. wear lab coat wear closed toe shoes (no sandles-you don't want to drop hot or corrosive stuff on your feet) no food in the lab
No Piercing yourself is a bad idea in general. And using a safety pin/sewing needle is awful. They CAN'T be sterilised. And an open flame/alcohol/boiling won't help. (flames leave carbon residue too) The gloves are totally counterproductive if you go that route. Everything bad will be lurking on the needle anyway. Do it properly, or not at all. If your mum is willing to stab your nose, then surely she will be willing to take you to a pro. Theres no excuse not to.
