yes im talking about the entire wheel, not the tire. mine is bent to hell on my torker lx 24. its a 24 wheel, will a 24 bicycle wheel work? is it even possible to find just a replacement wheel? or should i just get a new unicycle?
Simple get a new rim and get the wheel respoked using the existing hub!
Read David's answer. Spot on
No. You CAN'T use a regular bicycle wheel for a unicycle. Unis have the axle firmly mounted to the hub( and the pedals to the axle,) then the AXLE spins in the fork. On a regular bike wheel the axle is firmly bolted to the FORK, then the hub spins around the axle. There'd be no way to attach the pedals and to make the wheel turn. What you CAN do is to replace the RIM with a rim of the right size and drilling, but intended for a regular bike. Wheel building takes skill, so you might want to have a shop do it. But it'll probably come out cheaper than buying a new uni. Maybe even cheaper than getting a new wheel.
