Question:

Will my dog get shocked if she pee's on my heated blanket?

I understand that if she would pee on the control or cord part of blanket, she would, but if she would pee on the blanket part, would she get shocked? Just wondering because I'm aware that cords run through the blanket, but I'm just not sure.

Is it supposed to be hard wired someone disconnected it? New building code says smoke detectors are supposed be hard wired, and the battery is just there for backup.
No I had the same exact problem as you and it was driving me nuts!!! Go to a hardware store like lowes and they sell a special 9v battery for certain smoke detectors, I guess it has a little more voltage that stops it from giving you that warning low battery beeping signal.
