I want to start doing full body shots for photography. I just want to know if my YN-460 flash will be strong enough to shoot through a 50 translucent umbrella outdoors.
I believe most fire departments will be happy to inspect if you take it there. I know our fire department has many free services and even give out free smoke detectors. They may have a replacement or refill program for fire extinguishers. It doesn't hurt to ask.
Indiana has a state fire code that outlines the requirements for safety in apartments. I suggest you contact your fire marshal, there is a state fire marshall but I'm sure he has a local marshal or deputy he delegates such complaints to.
