If I install a security alarm in my house, can't a burglar just cut the wire to my phone outside to disarm it?
Check battery connections or for loose wiring
Sounds like gas is not reaching areas it needs to reach when slightly elevated, maybe fuel pump/filter, or fuel line needs replaced, also maybe a short ground somewhere. I would have it inspected soon.
It is a Jeep. Built by Daimler Chrysler! I have a lemon (Oops! I mean Durango). I don't even think the junk yard wants them.
BE CAREFUL Try taking a wire brush, grease, fix cylinder, or new key and cylinder. The cylinder has problems and these will make it safer. ok
I had this problem years ago, and after the experts replaced the ignition module, and the distributer pickup module, _ I finally ran it down myself, - it was loose connectiuon in the wire (plug) where the distributer connects to the rest of wiring loom. If your Jeep is older model with the ford electronic ignition module, and the chrylser (or) ford type distributer with pickup (this is inside the distributer) that has plug-in wire about 6-8 inches from bowl of distributer let engine idle, and wiggle the wire(s) around vigorously, if the engine dies, you have found it! This was an 87 jeep, - you didn't state what year yours is!
