My kitchen drain was leaking so i replaced the galvanized pipe with plastic.My problem is where the plastic pipe conects with the cast-iron I was sealing with epoxy putty and some pipe joint compound got in there and now it srill leaks will that compound not let the epoxy seal?Or should i just keep putting more on?
