Question:

will the AMD 8120 eight core processor bottleneck a new gtx 680 by Nvidia?

I am not exactly on an intel budget and i want to get this sick new graphics card

Answer:

Most games use only four cores so the 8 core is wasted money. Get the fastest 4 core you can find like an AMD980 as it's 3.7GHz, also get a 64GB SSD to put you windows and games on. A lot of bottlenecks are the read/write time to the hdd.
Forget Bulldozer and, if you must go AMD, get a high-end Phenom II Quad.
Agree a 8 core processor is a waste of money and the answer made a very good point about the quad cores, also excuse me people but the gtx 680 has already been release, my bag ! the second time that some a long waited product been release early the first was the ipad 3 , besides that no is the answer.
