Will the exhaust system for a 2004 or 05 350z fit on a 2007 ?
is it a disc brake? if so take out the pads and put a smear of copperslip on the back, that should sort it, if they are drum brakes take rthe shoes out and just take the leading edge off with a file, you dont need to talke off much, just give it a bit of an angle. cheers
Check the rear disc for blemishes
My brakes were sqeeking. On my dirt bike, if your bike is disc then What I did was I washed if, I made sure there wsa no dirt beween the disc and pad. Or dust. Maybe be dragging. Not releasing all the way, causing friction, making a smoother place, making squeek as well. if its drum, then idk
Maybe. It should fit, but it won't give as much power as the 2007 exhaust system. The engine in the 2007 model has 16 more HP and a different exhaust system.
AS far as i know the two exhaust flanges on the motor and the two outlets on the rear of the car body work has not changed. So I think 2003 to 2008 all should be the same VQ-35 and VQ-35HR motor exhaust exit in the same place. 370Z in 2009 may be different . Remember I only have had 100's exhaust systems sitting on the floor doing clutch jobs fuel hose recalls drive shaft work engine removals and header installs.
