Good luck! I don't think there is one. There are so many different types uses for hose that you need to be more specific about the application of the hose in question. Fire hose has set standards (finally) for couplings, bursting strength, etc. Yet, even hose with specific applications can vary in materials used.
When I was a teen I had this dude expose himself to me on my way to work at the movie theater suffice to say it was not fun I was rather freaked out by that.
