Tires on the car are Goodyear VIVA 2 86S with stock rims. Is it safe to use Nankang NS-2 84 V tires with 17 inch rims on the car.
Nankang tires are about the poorest quality tire available on the planet. Don't go cheap, it will come to bite you later. And sure, you can place a 17 inch tire and rim package on your 2003 Corolla. Best fit, without mods, would be 17x7.5 rims with 205/50-17 tires. If you are considering the Nankang tires you are obviously needing to keep the cost to a minimum. Look at the Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110 or the Sumitomo HTR Z III for an entry level tire that is at least average quality.
