Question:

windows xp volume control problem?

when i try to access the volume control a pop-up notice comes up with this: There are no active mixer devices available. To go install mixer devices, go to Control Panel, click Printers and Other Hardware and then click Add Hardware. and obviously it won't work unless i have a installation CD, is there any other way to fix this?

Answer:

Sound more like motion detector and infer-red to me. You can control the on and off light switch from a motion detector. and use the infer-red detector to detect how many people in the room. To use infer-red to calculate how many people walk in and out of the room. You need to built a program that can sense body heat in order for it do detect people in the room. There product out there that already have it. But Im guessing it'll be hella expensive. It mostly hightech stuff.
Yes. It is illegal to block a fire hydrant regardless of whether you are in the car. Cops may cut you a break and just tell you to move if you are in the car, but technically they could ticket you.
