Would a Frisbee by a wheel and axle simple machine?

Answer:

Hint: what does the word axle mean?
technically, no. first of all, like the other answerer said, there is no physical axle. Second, if you think about it, a wheel and axle in terms of simple MACHINES means there must be a conversion between two types of motion, in this case a conversion between rotational motion and translational or linear motion. With a frisbee, both motions exist, but they aren't be converted into anything. Not really a machine if it doesn't convert from one form of motion to another. Not really a machine if all it does is glide through the air although you could make the argument that a frisbee is an inclined plane simple machine. because, depending on how much you slant the frisbee, the air underneath the frisbee is pushed below, creating lift for the frisbee.
