would a magnaflow or a flowmaster muffler make my car loud? (just the muffler not the whole exhaust system)?

i have a 2013 v6 challenger (3.6 LITERS) and the stock dual exhaust system sounds pretty good but its not loud enoughi dont have 500 bucks to change the whole exhaust system but i can afford the mufflers. now is it worth it?btw do they weld it in order to install it or they just use screws cuz i leased the car n i dont think im allowed to do thatplease help!

Depends on the muffler, and your definition of loud. Loud to me is straight piped after the downpipes on my old truck with a 460 in it. Sounded good, but shook the entire house. Might not be what you're after. Also, there is more to exhaust sound than just what you hear outside. There's the level of droning (resonance) INSIDE the cab, that you can hear as you drive. Flowmaster 40 Series mufflers sound great outside, but have a droning sound inside on certain cars. Why not look on YouTube for your type of car with aftermarket mufflers. This will give you an idea of what you might wanna install. As for installing them, I don't know of any exhaust shops that bolt pipes together. They probably would if you asked them to, but normally they just weld them. Reason being, exhaust clamps fall off or loosen up over time. Welding is the right way to install them. Being a leased car, I don't think it would be a problem if you returned it with just aftermarket mufflers on it. If it worries you though, ask the exhaust shop to save your factory mufflers and just have them welded back on before you return the car.
Does it also require a timing belt?

I have a Jeep Liberty with the 3.7L engine and it has a Flowmaster Super 44 on it. Sounds like a V8 on start up and idle, as well as in low RPMs. But once you get into higher RPMs it starts to sound kind of ricey. But the sound is 100 times as agressive as it was stock. Worth the money imo. I'd look at videos on YouTube of Challengers with exhaust beforehand so you can know what you'd like.
