Question:

Would rototilling work to remove existing weeds in dirt & crusher run?

I am weeding and gardening a border in front of a chain link fence for a customer. There are quite a few weeds in the area that consists of soil crusher run/gravel. The border is about 2.5 feet wide by 50 feet long. We are thinking about renting a rototiller to help remove the weeds. Is this feasible? Is there another method that would work best?

Answer:

i roto tilled the border dug out some of the gravel replaced it with top soil put bulbs in put mulch on top and the following year had flowers
