Fridges vent from the bottom. A carpet could cause it to overheat or catch on fire. Keep it on a non carpeted surface.
No. The carpet has pile. Meaning it has material and fiber that is going upward. Your fridge needs airflow under it or the compressor will burn out in a day.
At the very least, I'd put furniture casters under the 'feet'. You want some clearance for free air-flow under it. Note: It WILL need occasional de-frosting which usually involves some spilled water. Really not a good idea to keep it on carpet.
Yes. I've never seen a warning not to and never heard of a fridge fire. Wow people her are paranoid. Only issue is cleaning the carpet from dropped food.
No I wouldn't do that. Why not buy a plastic tray to place it on? Or one of those rubber mats that go underneath a office chair?
