DEI electronics has they're Viper Alarm and other well known products. For the 1st question the answer is No. The alarm does not drain your battery unless it is constantly activated over and over again all night long for example. The wiring does involve getting some panels under the dash and cutting into some wires in the car factory harness. You can also have the option of using the vehicle horn or a siren. Or if you choose, some models will come programmable and you can pick and choose. Some models will have a pager to let you know the alarm has activated.
