I am a learner, could you check my diary and rewrite the awkward parts?December 11, 2009Cold rain has been falling since early morning.I don't remember last time I held an umbrella because I had been in Hanoi for a business trip for a week last week.At least I think I hadn't met rain for two weeks until today.I am at a coffee shop in Minato city Tokyo after having a boring meeting at the Tokyo office. The atmosphere around this district in quite different from around the Saitama office.The sleek shops stand in a raw, the walking beautiful ladies wear the brand clothing, almost all of cars on the road are expensive imported cars, and also many embassies are studded around here.A lot of wealths in Japan gather into here and people compete and emphasize their wealth.Longed and envied, this is nice place!But I don't think I want to live here although I am fascinated with beautiful ladies who stalk.Because, I surely know their real faces under paints are not different from my wife's one so much.
Sometimes it comes down to wind patterns. We had a fire storm in my area and it took out 240 houses and when you went afterwards and looked. Vaporized lots where houses once stood would go down many streets and yet here and there there was a wood shed with a wood shake roof full of hay that did not suffer at all. . Not due to watering downnobody did that. It was more location, which while on the same street, was maybe in a bit of a dip in the terrain that was different. Or at the foot of a hill. Some yards were untouched. while houses on each side and in front and behind are NOTHING. It melted metal siding like no problem. The fire went into the nearby forest and it went through it like fingers spread apart. The fingers burned right down into the roots and yet there were spaces that the undergrowth is the same but the fire did not go there. It was that the terrain was minor hills and valleys. That is all I noticed. . Meaning the action of the fire is hard to predict.
