Question:

can you solve this physics question?

An aluminum wing on a plane is 34.4 m long when the temperature is 20 oCAt what temperature would the wing be 0.04 m shorter? Enter your answer to one decimal place and do not enter units for this problemYou should think about the physics of the situation before trying to solve the problem(Hint: You are being asked for a temperature, not a temperature change)Round your answer to one decimal place and only enter the number, not the units for this problem.

Answer:

I have been a huge proponent of recycling since I was 12, and have regularly driven my coworkers crazy on the subject, lolAt home I recycle all paper, plastic, glass, and recyclable metals I have - which is pretty much everything - and use a composter for food scrapsMy employer, I'm sorry to say, single handedly destroys acres of forest per hour.
I do my part at home, namely cans, bottles, plastic, newspaper, and cardboard, but at the end of the day that's pretty insignificant compared to what I do at workI work at a national lab where we go through chemicals by the truckloadAlthough we have a redistribution system in place many people do not take advantage of it, and will actually pay to dispose of a half empty chemical container rather than getting it out to someone who can use it! Disposing of chemicals that are still usable costs the lab hundreds of thousands of dollars a year, as things such as dichloromethane can't be simply poured down the sinkAnd disposing of hazardous materials is tough on the environment tooSo in the two labs that I manage I have instituted a policy where I will not allow researchers to introduce new chemicals into my lab unless they can document that those chemicals are NOT available through the redistribution centerAnd I am automatically designated a delegate chemical custodian for all chemicals, meaning that nobody can dispose of a chemical without me signing off on the paperworkAnd if the material is still good I make sure it goes to the redistribution centerI haven't had to buy a brand new bottle of anything in almost a year, so I think I'm doing pretty good.
