Question:

Does an old HDMI version cable affect the quality of the colours when connected to PC ?

I mean I read in the control panel of my pc that it has 32 bit colour. But i also read in wiki that older HDMI cables supports 24 bit colour. I actually don't know what version is my HDMI cable. Do I need new cable ?

Answer:

If you are dissatisfied with the appearance, you might try a different cable, but if you see no problems in the image, you're better served by leaving well enough alone.
It should not affect the color; If the cable was ineffective in transmitting signal you would see things like blackouts; Sparkle ; picture freeze. If the picture looks normal you are getting the entire signalThe design of HDMI cables has not changed only the testing has changed so they are the same cables as the 1.3 design.HDMI with ethernet has a couple of more wires inside but that should not effect color TVIf your cable is really old before 2006 a 1.0 version it might cause problems in longer lengths but the 1.3 and 1.4 and high speed cables cables are essentially the same cables newer high speed cables might have more insulation, better wire and better production techniques so the wire might last longer but with HDMI you either get signal or you don't there is no lesser quality signal that's watchableIf you are seeing sparkle wash out then you might need a new cable take a look at the link below to see what it looks like.
The cable you have should be good enough.
