Question:

Does this wheel fit this tire?

I‘m trying to buy new custom wheels for the boat trailer as a giftOur current tire size is a 5 lug ST205/75/R14 The wheel I‘m looking at is 14x6 and the bolt pattern is 5x4.5Will these work together?

Answer:

The only squirrel cage that I am aware of is used in air conditioning for the blowers. The squirrel cage is a cylindrical arrangement of vanes with the squirrel cage spun about its center by a motor either direct drive or belt driven. Even most central heat and air systems have a squirrel cage for the air moving blower. I am sure there are other air movers out there. For instance, your hair dryer has a small squirrel cage in it directly driven by a small motor.
A squirrel-cage rotor is the rotating part (rotor) used in the most common form of AC induction motor. It consists of a cylinder of steel with aluminum or copper conductors embedded in its surface. An electric motor with a squirrel-cage rotor is termed a squirrel-cage motor.
The few 225/45-16 that are available all have a rim width range of 7-8.5 So yes, you are good to go.
You are mixing tire info with rim info Is the rim from the 205 also a 5x4.5 and what width is the rim with the current tire
First you must measure the bolt hole pattern on the wheels that are on the trailer now. Most likely they're the old Ford pattern which is 5 x 4 1/2. That isn't cast in stone however. They could be 5 x 4 3/4 or 5 X 5. Here's how to measure a 5 bolt standard lug or wheel pattern. Lay the wheel and tire street side down. lay the end of an accurate tape measure dead center in any single hole. *Stretch the tape measure across one hole (skip it) and measure to the furthest edge of the second hole! That dimension is your lug wheel spacing. You absolutely must know this dimension before wasting money on the wrong wheels. You can do the same thing by measuring *bare lugs out of the wheel hub.
