Question:

How do I preform one handed manipulations of the m4 Carbine?

How do I preform Immediate Action, Remedial Action, Emergancy Reloads and Tactical Realoads for a M4 Carbine. One Handed.

Answer:

One handed manipulation is generally performed with lubricant.
clint smith from thunder ranch training facility actually covered some of these movements, he used a railed m-4 type ar15 for the demonstration, basically you need to have a foward mounted grip to really make it easier to brace the gun against something while doing jam clearing, foward assist manipulation, or reloading( turn the carbine upside down, insert the mag, flip it over and release the bolt and tap the foward assist to ensure the round is seated.) these excercises can probably be found on youtube, just search clint smith or best defense, and they should still be available, a word of caution though, these drills are very unusual, and will require a lot of practice to gain proficiency, so dont get frusterated, good luck and train hard!
with one hand....... as far as techniques.....u will need to practice them for yourself... and yes it makes it MUCH easier if ur already wearing the firearm with a sling........
