Target, walmart, online stores, best buy etc, sell a usb lan adapter that plugs into your usb port on your wii and then you plug an ethernet cable into the adapter to get internet. Obviously the ethernet cable needs to be plugged into your internet source (router) and directly into your wii. The adapter is under $20. Hope you have a high speed internet connection because dial-up isn't going to work.

To be honest, you're probably better off getting a wireless router, rather than the USB adapter, It's going to cost about the same to get the job done and you won't have wires, besides you say you need WIFI anyway. Don't waste the money on the USB adapter, it's a slow connection anyway as the Wii only supports USB1.0 whereas your wifi will be at least 10base. Incidentally, the USB/ethernet adapters are available at essentially any game store. They're just not worth the cash.
You don't need a wireless router to go online for your wii. Go to any video game store like best buy or gamestop. I'm sure they have lots of wi-fi usb connectors. All you need is the internet for your computer. Buy the wi-fi usb connector and connect it to your computer. When you buy a wi-fi usb connector, there's a disc inside it. Use the disc and download it to your computer. Wait till its done loading and from there, plug in your wi-fi usb connector and your wii should read it.
