Question:

Why does my boiler do this?

My boiler Vaillant Eco tech plus 824r1 is not turning instead it says F61, can you give me any suggestions on why it is doing this?

Answer:

F61 is a short in the cable to the gas valve, a defective valve, or a defective circuit board. You will need a Tech to determine which it is.
Looks like an error code. Find your owners manual and read it, or call a boiler tech. You do not want to jack around with this if you don't know what your doing. It could give you CO poisoning and you'd wake up dead. BTW, took me about 5 seconds to learn that F61 means you have a bad gas valve. You really do not want to tough this! Astrobuf
