if i bought a 12 bolt rear end with 6 lug axles but have 5 lug wheels, can i have the axles and drums re-drilled for the 5 lug set-up?if so how much would it cost?
Well it just depends on whom you are apoligizing to and the veterans adminstration I dont think that is going to cut the cake in regards of maybe them being a white neggro !!!!!!!!!!!
Easiest and least expensive is to buy 6 lug wheels that the tires will fit and that will fit on the hub.
I doubt it, probably the 6 lug axle have a higher weight capacity and larger brakes, are they full floating axles? if so forget it, you will have to get a new setup
I would not attempt to have this done. Sure, you can do anything to anything, but sometimes you just have to measure cost+ time + final results. It's just not worth it. I'd get different wheels if you really need to keep the axle setup you got.
