No auto part store can get factory stereo wiring with out special ordering it from Painless wires. These auto parts stores sell kits for installing aftermarket stereo adapters not factory. What you need to do is check with a salvage yard. The Impala basic stereo system was used from 2000-05 and was the same as the regal, monte carlo, grand prix, and bonneville. The stereo that has the same options as yours will have the same color code for the wires and if they cut the ones in your car, these could be spliced or soldered together. Hope this helps. ok I actual have a 2002 impala I in basic terms offered and the final proprietor put in a aftermarket stereo interior the vehicle the radio worked yet not one of the gauges did you I split the wires to cord interior the production facility alongside with the aftermarket yet now the gauges purely paintings once I unplug the production facility yet then neither stereo works is there any way i will restoration this??
the chevy dealer can hook you up with the harness that you need, but it would probably be cheaper to check with the auto stereo shops in your town. Kunkles may also have it
