Question:

2007 jetta tire pressure?

I have had what appears to be extensive tire pressure problems with my jetta. When I got it I drove it a few months about 2000 or so miles and then my tire pressure light came on. All the tires were low, and one tire was damaged, which was replaced. Now approximately 2 months/2500 miles later the light came on again, and all of them were low. Is this normal? My parents said I may have a defective rim, but why would all of them be low? haha If anyone else has a jetta with tire pressure problems or knowledge of this please help. thanks in advancePS: I live in 100 degree weather, so it‘s not from the cold.

Are you running the minimum Air pressure on the tires, Like 32 PSI, If I remember correctly the Minimum tire pressure for the TPMS is 31-32 before the light comes on. I had to bump mine up to 35 PSI to get the light to go off, and haven't had a problem with the tire going low. I could be as simple as using a higher (34 PSI) cold tire starting point. as the tires warm up the pressure will increase about 2 PSI when the tires warm up.
