This geared motor is from PARVALUX, who are not responding to my emails. It has been removed from obsolete X-Ray equipment, and I'm pretty sure it is a permanent magnet motor. It is mounted very tightly in a housing that makes reading the details difficult, but the details that I can see on the label are: PARVALUX ELECTRIC MOTORS LTDVOLTS 200/220ACHZ 50 PHASE 1RPM 200 RATIO 20.8 (?)REF/SD 1.5/132924/69 (?)CLASS B INSULATIONBUILT TO BS 5000 PART 11WALLISDOWN BOURNEMOUTH ENGLANDOn the rear end is a serial number S/N 37845It has 7 wires in the cable leading to the housing, green(earth I would assume), then white, black, yellow, purple, red, and brown.Wiring to the motor however appears to be 2 x white and 2 x red, with 2 other wires going to the permanent magnet end. Permanent magnet motors are usually DC. This seems a bit complicated for a DC motor. Could be the SD1?
