Question:

500 GB or 1TB, which one is better for USB Loader GX for Wii?

I am trying to decide between two different external hardrives for the usb loader gx for my wii.Western Digital My Book Essential Edition(1TB), 32 people have comfirmed it, and I found one for about $10 more than the other one, but it has some complicated explanation that i can't understand, can someone explain to me what the description means???Overall, which one should i get and why?

Answer:

I looked on that website this morning and I've ordered the Western Digital WDME5000TE My Passport Essential 500GB USB. I've read a few posts from others that use it with USB loader and have no problems. I did read about external hard drives over 500GB causing problems because the Wii doesn't handle them efficiently, though some with 1TB have partitioned the drive. After research I decided to stick with 500GB as that's a lot of room. I actually have the 320GB WD my passport plugged into my media player and I love it, no problems at all and it looks good so I may be biased.
All you had to do was create a WBFS folder and put the WBFS games in it, also the flash drive should be in USB port 0
