Question:

A question about the Pipe/Foundry building in Tennessee?

Ok, so I saw this building a few years ago. Kind of an old, steel-mill sort of thing, but I never really got close to it until a few weeks ago on my way back from nashville to north ga. There's actually another building, a fire hydrant warehouse or something, but there was a sign that said Property of the US Pipe and Foundry co so I didn't get really close in case I could get in trouble for trespassing. I wrote this down and googled it. An article said that the building was torn down a couple years ago but that's not right because I still see it. So could somebody help solve this mystery and fill me in on what happened to the building and if I can go in? I'm an avid photographer and I have an obsession with old buildings and I would really like to know if I can go in.

Answer:

A couple of months ago, I went out in the backyard for a smoke. I noticed something odd looking on the ground and when I looked closer I realized it was the head and liver of a mouse, perfectly dissected, not a mark on the live at all. She must have ate everything else!
Yes - in most (all?) modern Toyota cars, if the door is locked with the remote anything that opens the door while the alarm is set will set off the alarm. We have run afoul of that when my wife absentmindedly locked the doors of her 2002 Prius with our adult daughter inside. When our daughter opened the door to get out surprise! Nice thought, though. Can you recruit someone in her family to get you in?
