I know that it is a 5.5'' wheel but I dont know what the lug nut pattern sizes is. Any help would be great.
Almost any tire/wheel dealer can tell you.
4 lug standard pattern with 7/8 inch nuts. the most common tread used was and still is 165-R15 or 165-80R15. if i remember correctly. hope that helps!
The four lug is a 4x130mm and the 5 lug is a 5x205mm. All stock wheels are 4.5 wide. Only 1973 model super beetle with the Sportsbug option will have the 5.5 wide wheels, stamped ET26. That extra inch is mostly on the outer edge of the wheel. Porsche 914 wheels look the same but have a different offset and don't fit the front of the super, but I don't know if they crash on a standard beetle. Sportsbug wheels are expensive, as much as 400 per set if you can find them. You can get 5.5 wheels in stock designs and they are pretty common, but not as rolling stock in the US
